My Tupperware Recipe – Watermelon Bombe
5 – 6 cups (about 3 pints) lime sherbet or sorbet
2 cups vanilla ice cream
5 – 6 cups (about 3 pints) raspberry sorbet or sherbet ( can be strawberry, Watermelon just has to be red in color)
2-3 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
Line a large mixing bowl with the softened Lime Sherbet. Freeze this layer.
Then remove from freezer add a layer of vanilla ice cream. Freeze this layer.
Then, mix chocolate chips with raspberry sherbet and fill in the rest of the bowl. Refreeze.
Turn upside down onto a large plate of cake server.
NOTE: Use a warm towel on the bottom of the bowl to help the ice cream release.
Slice the “watermelon” and serve. When served, each piece will look like a slice of watermelon and taste yummy, too.”
